Our Infant program is committed to ensuring a loving, caring environment . This carefully prepared environment provides your infant with the opportunity to safely explore and develop a strong sense of emotional well-being. These little minds are stimulated to learn and grow as they move through early developmental stages. Classrooms contain low shelves with explorative materials to foster early development of practical life skills, and play. Mats provide opportunities for climbing and moving, balance and further development of motor skills. In addition to developing their first words, infants are also taught baby sign language and Spanish. Infants enjoy playing and engaging in music activities, including songs, finger-plays, listening to classical music and experiencing a variety of instruments. Our infant program is committed to promoting quality Montessori Infant care for children from two months to eighteen months, based on the American Montessori Society concepts.
The Montessori Toddler classroom is a child's world of discovery, geared to the size, pace and interests of their young absorbant minds. Our classrooms are designed to give your child freedom to learn in an environment prepared with attractive manipulative materials. The materials in the classroom are designed to stimulate a toddler's curious mind and desire for increased independence. Our Toddlers are introduced to Montessori materials and receive lessons in sensorial, practical life, language, early math, spanish, art and music. Indoor and outdoor play areas provide the toddlers a place for further exploration and control of movement. Our diverse Toddler program encourages care of self and of the environment. We emphasize sharing and respectful interactions that foster a peaceful community.
